Happy belated May the 4th. I haven't done a star wars fan pic since I was about 10 years old. Feels nice to finally be able to do what I saw in my head
This poor dude was on a patrol in some backwater system. His group got ambushed by some local pirates and now he's stuck on some crummy planet trying to get a signal out. Praying his rations last until rescue can arrive.
A very good picture.
I love it even though I dont know what it is
To escape the desert heat he finds caves that lead to an underground city. Further investigation unveils a tremendously deadly weapon and he's left with the decision whether the rebels should be obliterated or the Empire. The underground city is desolate, so he hides his tracks and treks to a river and an uninhabited chemical plant where he is able to recharge and boost his communications equipment. He's picked up by a passing trader who is neutral.
Knowing that at some stage this deadly device will be discovered, he decides to become an independent undercover agent. He penetrates the rebel organisation and begins his evaluation of the other side. After a few months he concludes his findings, but realizes that a similar assessment is necessary to make his decision. Using neutral traders he makes his way across systems into the Empire's main command. He is greeted by intense investigation into his absence from his squad. He successfully hides what has happened by fabricating a story and is relieved to join a system based squad meaning he can do the assessment in the main command area. He feels at ease as he assume undercover detective work. However one day he notices that he has been trailed the whole time and his fear of the Empire grows.
The main objective changes to one of escape and building alliances to help him reach the rebels. But as his efforts increase so does the Empire's scrutiny of where he was for the months he was missing.
